FAA:A billion air travelers in 2015

I guess the FAA doesn’t know about Peak Oil. They say US air travel will double in 10 years. Maybe they expect humans to be genetically reengineered and we will all have feathers at that time. Otherwise, I don’t understand where the energy will come from to build and fly the airplanes.
