Explorer Shuts Products Pipeline in Okla. Tank Fire

(Reuters) – With fire still burning at a products tank in Glenpool, Oklahoma, the Explorer Pipeline Co. said Monday it would be at least Tuesday until it could reopen an oil products pipeline from Houston into Tulsa, Oklahoma, and another pipeline out of Tulsa to Wood River, Illinois.

“We won’t be able to restart those lines until at least tomorrow,” Tom Jensen, Explorer’s director of operations, said on Monday afternoon.
