Experts call for increasing oil, gas exploration

Mumbai: About 80 percent of India’s sedimentary basins with potential for oil and natural gas reserves remain unexplored, energy experts here have said.

The experts said stepping up off- and on-shore oil and gas exploratory activities was the only way to bridge the gap between the demand and supply for energy resources in the country.
