Although 2005 was a banner year for U.S. independent oil and gas companies, “the game is getting tougher,” an industry expert says.
A survey of about 75 senior industry executives reveals an industry straining to keep up with hiring and drilling demands.
Conducted by the Grant Thornton LLP, an accounting and consulting firm, the survey indicates that a shortage of equipment and manpower will take a toll this year on oil and gas independents.
