Don’t write off electric-only cars. Nissan believes plug-in electric cars could still have a serious presence in big cities.
The Japanese carmaker has just released its first petrol electric hybrid model (with Toyota technology) in the United States, but is not convinced hybrids are the solution.
“We are not going down one road and one road alone,” Nissan global communications vice-president Simon Sproule says.
