Efficient uses of energy

Dhaka’s shop and market owners have threatened that they would go for a movement if they are not supplied with adequate electricity. The same warning has been given earlier by the garment manufacturers.
Actually the shortage of power is one of the most discussed issues across the country. The country seriously lacks efficient use of energy, especially in the power sector. It is believed that the power shortage could be solved and met by efficient management of our existing power.
Big losses take place in the generation, transmission and distribution of power, resulting in the shortfall. The country needs a sustainable energy development programme to cope with the growing demand-supply gap.
