The U.S. economy may be showing signs of fatigue after surging at the beginning of the year, reports showed on Monday, as energy prices climbed to record highs.
A pair of weaker-than-expected readings on the housing and manufacturing sectors in April sparked concerns about near-term economic strength, even though a separate report showed foreign investment in U.S. assets rebounded in February.
