Dutch government to take energy price compensation decision in Dec

The Dutch government said it will make a decision on providing financial compensation to consumers who are hit by soaring energy prices in December, Dutch news agency ANP said.

A majority in the Dutch parliament had demanded that the government compensate for high energy prices to preserve consumer purchasing power in 2006.
