UGANDA may experience another diesel shortage, the Government and dealers have warned.
Daniel Segal, the Kobil general manager, said the shortage was due to inability of the pipeline to pump oil at a faster rate from Mombasa to Kisumu and Eldoret.
He said one line of the pipeline between Mombasa and Nairobi was being expanded, creating a problem in pumping the product to western Kenya.
Segal told The New Vision last Friday that fuel operators had decided to use trucks to ferry the products from Mombasa to Kampala.
