Cultural heritage can help Iran oil-free economy

In the budget plan of the year 2006/2007, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, has asked the authorities and public organizations to propose their policies based on an oil-free economy to open new horizons in cultural, social, and economical development of the country.

While Iran’s government has announced its forth development program as the base of the next Iranian calendar year budget, it seems that with paying more attention to cultural heritage and tourism, such resources could be used for the cultural development of the country and the flourishing of the oil-free economy.
