Crude oil futures fell a second day in London amid perceptions U.S. and European heating fuel stockpiles are large enough to meet demand when it peaks this winter.
U.S. supplies of distillate fuel, gasoline and crude oil all rose in the week ended Nov. 18, an Energy Department report showed yesterday. Distillate fuels, the category that includes heating oil, rose 1.2 million barrels to 124.5 million last week, about double the amount analysts polled by Bloomberg had expected. They are now 7.7 percent above last year’s level.
