Conversion of Coal-Fired Power Plants Presents Opportunities

Green Energy Resources (nasdaq otc pk.GRGR) has confirmed Alstom of Sweden will convert Scottish Southern Energy’s (SSE) Power Plant at Fiddlers Ferry (UK), to biomass and co-firing power generation from coal. It will be the largest renewable energy power plant in the UK. The plant was designed and built by Alstom in the 70’s, and is scheduled to be operational by first quarter of 2006. It is one of several UK facilities Green Energy Resources has been working with for nearly two years.
