China’s CNPC discovers oil, gas in Kazakhstan block

China National Petroleum Corp, the parent of Hong Kong-listed PetroChina Co Ltd (HK 0857), said it has discovered oil and gas in the Nanzha block in Kazakhstan with expected oil reserves of tens of millions of tons.
