CHINA’S state-owned Sinopec Group has signed an agreement with Russian oil firm Rosneft to transport additional crude supplies via Mongolia.
The deal was concluded yesterday after months of delay, said state media organisations yesterday.
In the agreement, Rosneft will begin exporting 2.5 million tonnes of oil each year starting from August, according to a report by China Caijing News. Along with Rosneft’s current agreement with top state-run energy group China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), under which Rosneft supplies 8.9 million tonnes of oil to China each year.
