China oil production rises 2 percent

China produced more than 91 million tons of crude oil, a rise of 2.1 percent from last year, the country’s lead petroleum company said Thursday.

China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association said that output of refined oil products went up 5.6 percent to 84.82 million tons, state-run news agency Xinhua reported.
