China is likely to ink an agreement with Kazakhstan on finance, energy and resources cooperation within 2009, said Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at a press conference after the closing of the annual session of the National People’s Congress on Friday.
Wen asked the nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, to strengthen cooperation in many areas, such as energy, resources, infrastructure, agriculture and high technologies to deal with the worsening global financial crisis.
