China Crude Oil Consumption to Reach 500 Mln Tons by 2020

BEIJING (AFX) – China’s crude oil consumption will reach 500 mln tons by 2020 from 320 mln tons last year, according to Zhu Jianjun, director of the department of development research for China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC).

China’s consumption of crude oil in 2010 is projected at 380 mln tons, Zhu said at an energy strategy forum in Beijing.
