China’s oil demand will rise 8.8 pct this year to 6.94 mln barrels per day on strong economic growth and insufficient coal supply, the China Securities Journal reported, citing a research report by Lehman Brothers.
The research report added demand for gasoline is expected to increase 4.7 pct this year and diesel demand 7.3 pct due to robust automobile consumption.
