Chevron, U.S. Postal Service Launch Unique Alternative Power System

Chevron Corporation today announced the completion of a unique hybrid alternative power plant — combining two solar technologies and hydrogen fuel cell generation – and major energy efficiency improvements at two of the largest U.S. Postal Service (USPS) centers in California. This achievement is being celebrated today at a ceremony in San Francisco that includes U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administrator Stephen Johnson and other federal, state and local government officials, business leaders, and representatives from academia and national environmental organizations.
