The presidents of Venezuela and Iran visited several joint ventures in Caracas Monday, during which Mahmoud Ahmadinejad denied allegations that an Iranian bicycle factory in Venezuela is a front for uranium enrichment.
Venezuela is the world’s fifth largest crude oil exporter, and Iran ranks fourth.
Chavez claimed that Venezuela’s oil reserves could last two centuries, but must be ‘well used, not used to feed the capitalist voracity of the world powers.’
