Those forward thinking folks at the National Hydrogen Association sent me an email about their new hydrogen fueling station database. I doubt that unless you’re the Spallino family though you’d have much use for it. There seems to be 10 public hydrogen fueling stations in North America, 5 of them in California and only 1 public fueling station in the works (in NYC).
California has definitely taken the initiative on hydrogen. As of 2004, California used just 6700kWh/year/capita of electricity, which is the lowest in the US and puts them close to European electricity use per capita. California though has a vision to become more electricity intensive. They want to build a hydrogen highway with the following goals:
