BP Plc, Europe’s largest oil company, and Clipper Windpower Plc of London agreed to co-develop five wind farms in the U.S. as surging prices for fossil fuels boost demand for renewable energy sources.
The agreement includes wind-electricity projects that can generate up to 2,015 megawatts, the companies said today in a statement. The five projects are located in New York, Texas and South Dakota.
