Australia, US told to act now on climate

In a speech tonight, the man who discovered the cause of the ozone hole will warn that Australia and the US need to act quickly to cut global warming pollution.

Nobel prizewinner F. Sherwood Rowland said he was worried about the planet’s fate, and countries such as Australia and the United States – which have stood outside international actions to reduce greenhouse gases – needed to move quickly.
