Atlantic tropical storm forms, 27th of 2005

A month after the hurricane season officially ended, a new tropical storm formed Friday in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, the National Hurricane Center reported.
Tropical Storm Zeta formed about 1,000 miles southwest of the Azores islands, according to an advisory posted on the center
It was not likely to threaten land, hurricane center forecaster Martin Nelson said.
