As gas prices rise, so do number of scams

The Environmental Protection Agency has evaluated or tested more than 100 alleged gas-saving devices and has not found any product that significantly improves gas mileage.

Some major fuel dealers offer cash or gas-back programs through their credit cards or other customer loyalty programs — those are reliable, and you should check them out.
