Nothing new…too many consumers. Like lemmings, we will all run over the cliff of peak oil and die. Those few who survive will have to adjust to a totally alien world.

Too many people and too few resources.
Population growth is a big part of the problem and reducing population growth will be part of the solution. Continuing to add a billion people every 10-12 years is not sustainable.
Access to family planning services needs to be available to all that want it. If you can not provide for yourself you can not provide for a child.
