Angola confirms new oil discovery

Angolan state-owned oil company SONANGOL and Total of France have confirmed a new oil discovery in Angola’s offshore block 32. In a statement released on Wednesday in Luanda, SONANGOL and Total said appraisal drilling in the Gengibre-2 well to 4,342 meters had tested to 5,100 barrels per day.
