They say there will be a government after the oil collapse, funny. The government will be the first one to abandon ship. Saving reserves for only the most vital infrastructure like ambulances, fire trucks, food distribution, and hospitals… instantly none of that would be there. It would be panic NATIONWIDE.
If algae biofuel is so great then what’s the hold up, let’s get started. Oh wait, that whole EROEI reality thing, that’s right I forgot.
New sky scrapers and trains being built from energy derived from algae biofuel 50 years after the end of the oil age? They didn’t want to scare people too much I guess, or maybe this is just propaganda conveying the message that the government will be there for us and even though times could get rough, they have a plan.
