Man, I wish this was not 4 years old. I also wish the words “running out of oil” would cease to be used when speaking about peak oil.

Yet another typical crappy didactic American “witty” speech.
The message for Americans : just tell your pigizens you went through your peak in 1970, now a done deal, and that everything has been done to cover this up.
Then start behaving a bit and put a $2 tax on gas at least.

Rebecca, you are correct on both counts.
We are never going to ‘run out of oil’. We are going to run out of oil that can be accessed with less energy than the oil recovered contains. EROEI. When the Age of Petroleum ends, there will still be billions, maybe trillions of barrel still in the earth, and there they will stay.

This is just one of a number of programs that leave me w little doubt about the fact and imapct of peak oil. Throw in the financial games of the banks,the economic mess as well as increasing climate inbalance we better start learning how to work together. NOW
Cause we are all going to need each to make it.
