(NaturalNews) Humankind has overreached to the point of suicide. Many of the systems that currently perpetuate modern life are entirely unsustainable and doomed to inevitable collapse. This person is kidding themself if they think a coming collapse event is going to be natural selection. Natural selection happens over time with some degree of stability. What is coming will likely take fit and unfit alike. If you are fit your odds are naturally better. If you chose a sustainable local your odds will be better. What is coming is as much about the luck of the draw as being fit and in the right place. The reason for this is the range of collapse scenarios.

I am not saying don’t prep and locate better. I am discounting anything you may think you can do at this point. The size and extent of this process makes the results all-inclusive. If we were lucky enough to see a long term collapse process play out I would see more natural selection but as it is a see a broad based die off. We skipped the natural selection process through denial and self-deception years ago.

If a highly intelligent, aware and healthy individual is living in downtown Los Angeles when the shit really starts hitting the fan, then chances are that person’s survival will depend to a great extent on luck of the draw. But then again, how many highly intelligent, aware and healthy individuals are ignorant or stupid enough to be living in downtown Los Angeles given the fact that things are already in the process of collapse?

Sound advice: If you are reading this and you ARE one of those highly intelligent, aware and healthy individuals who — for whatever reason — have no choice but to continue living in downtown Los Angeles (or any high-risk locale), your survival odds can be increased by stockpiling water, food and lots and lots of bullets for your weapon of choice. Davy — I googled “Osage Indian war club” to see what you’re talking about. Wow. That is one wicked weapon. My brother went on a one-month vacation recently to some remote tropical islands in the South Pacific. He returned with a native club that looks very much like the Osage club I see pics of. His club is carved from some species of really tough hardwood. Mean weapon — it hurts just to touch it.

Of course, I am sure that you are spending an hour or two daily practicing your technique with that club. Having a club (or sword) but no training and fitness discipline using it makes the club (or sword) much less effective than what it would otherwise be. Looks like you’ll be bashing heads, and I’ll be lopping them off. Happy swinging!! 🙂

40 and 50 pound recurve bows are my choice for those long distance zombie take-downs. I’ve been looking at crossbows — very tempting, especially one or two I found in the $1K range. But reloading the next bolt takes a little more time than a recurve. And I guess when it comes to bows, I just tend toward the basic no-frills style. Personal preference is all.

I bought the 40 lb bow just last week because I wanted a bow that I could practice with that wouldn’t wear my muscles out after 20 – 30 shots. When I tried it out at the indoor range, my first shot was a bulls eye dead center at 50 feet. The sales rep freaked out and started calling other sales reps over to show them my shot. Moral of the story: Zombies beware!

Got that covered Davy. I have two dogs also: a Pomeranian and a Chihuahua/Jack Russell cross. They aren’t any good as attack dogs, obviously, but one thing I know for sure and that is nobody and nothing will ever be able to sneak up on me or even come within a hundred feet without ample notification from my two little buddies. They don’t eat much either — not so much an issue for you as for me since you have plenty of goat and beef steak for your dogs to dine on. My dogs can live on boiled potato/carrot with a little fresh egg mixed in, something I my backyard mini-farm produces in huge amounts. Yeah, I can’t imagine heading into collapse without man’s best friend(s) along for the ride!
