LAGOS, Nigeria – Gunmen kidnapped at least two foreign oil workers from a bus Thursday in a southern Nigeria city, police said.
The foreign nationals were riding to work in the central oil-industry city of Port Harcourt when they were abducted, a senior police official said by telephone from the city. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to reporters.
The kidnapping comes a day after a gunman riding a motorcycle shot to death an American oil worker on his way to the office in southern Nigeria.
