Pretty scary to see that even peak-oilers aware of the gloomy future we'll all see except perhabs very old people (and i'm not even sure for them) want to make money on this event...

But imho, they are far to understand fully what peak oils means : all this money they dream of will be useless while economy collapse... They are just crazy. They say our world is going to hell while promoting an insane business as usual.

We are doomed. Doomed by our madness.

These people are not traders or investment advisors. they are fraudulent hucksters.

i wouldn't worry about it though. people like this have always been around to take advantage of any potential vien of fear or green they can mine.

I wish people would use the url function on the task bar to shorten long urls. Maybe it doesn't scroll off the page on every browser, but when I see a post like the one at the top, I don't even try to read it.

Aside from the wisdom of dealing with these type hucksters, "What is the problem with using knowledge to benefit yourself financially?"

If you have knowledge to cure cancer, then I assume you think it would be evil to profit from it. Maybe Bill gates is evil for making money from his creations. Maybe Johnas Saulk was evil to accept a paycheck to develop polio vaccines. Maybe a tiger should not use his knowledge as to the daily patterns of his prey, and should just starve to death.

It seems to me that exploiting our environment and using knowledge is the essence of our means of survival.

I think perhaps the issue of sanity may not so much apply to traders as it applies the originator of this thread.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')UT HOLD UP!
Before you read another word...

I want to make something completely clear from the start.

If you're a faint-hearted investor, what you're about to learn could send you straight to the cardiac ward.

The following pages will show you how to play a raging and volatile commodity super-bull market... where prices of commodities can swing 5% to 25% in a matter of days.

Spread betting will be your investment weapon of choice. That means the same reasons you can make flash-fire potential gains ranging from 46% and 132% in mere weeks also mean you can lose money... in some cases more than your initial stake. Spread betting is not for every investor... and you should always consult an independent advisor before investing.

In all honesty, this is a risky proposition.

Looks like a case of BUYER BEWARE? Not much difference between someone selling me a Hummer that gets poor mileage, a house I cannot afford and bringing me that calory bomb of a dessert that the server can see I really do not need? Fear & greed ; - )

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')argin amounts vary between spread betting companies and the type of shares you are spread betting. The past is not a guide to future performance. Spread betting may not be suitable for all customers. Trades in stock recommended in the Resource Trader Alert have a high level of risk to your capital. You may lose more than your original stake or deposit. Prices can move rapidly against you and resulting losses may oblige you to make further payments. You should always contact your Financial Advisor if you are unsure about the suitability of any investment. All percentages shown in the brochure and our tables are based on option prices, which determine the outcome of spread bet prices. All gains exclude dividend payments and dealing costs, unless otherwise stated. Levels and bases of, and reliefs from, taxation are subject to change. Fleet Street Publications Ltd receives a recommendation commission for accounts opened with CMC Markets UK Plc

To be honest, although the presentation is OVER THE TOP, it is no more bullish than a lot of what I read here on PO every single day? Just giving the punters what they want! ; - )
The organized state is a wonderful invention whereby everyone can live at someone else's expense.
