I've been following the rollercoaster stock market for the past couple of weeks now (i've known of peak oil for years but the recent news REALLY perked my interest again).. the only problem when interpretting the market and telling friends, is i have no reference to compare what's happening to...
for example, what is the average rise and fall of oil, before this crisis happened?
How many points traditionally marks a "big deal" (never mind a crisis)? 50 cents? a dollar?
