$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hese are the stunning results of climate and carbon cycle model simulations conducted by scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. By using a coupled climate and carbon cycle model to look at global climate and carbon cycle changes, the scientists found that the earth would warm by 8 degrees Celsius (14.5 degrees Fahrenheit) if humans use the entire planet’s available fossil fuels by the year 2300.

Love how they put the Fahrenheit number in the title. :P

Wonder what sort of URR's they are using for oil, gas and coal....

Wow, 8 degrees in 300 years. That should get a lot of people concerned. (sarcasm).
The average person probably wouldn’t care is it was 8 degrees in a couple of decades. People tend to only care about the here and now.

In 300 years, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Earth was incapable of supporting complex life :(

Complex life has survived several mass extinctions. I wouldn't worry about that. However, humanity hasn't proved their ability to survive such events.

Hmm, looks pretty hot where these people are. Kinda dry too.

Not saying I would make it there but I think you under estimate us a bit.

{Edit} There I go again... stealing bandwidth... The photo is of Bushmen in a pretty inhospitable enviorment.
