You have the right to remain silent regarding any of your own presumptive criminal wrongdoings. The right to remain silent does not extend to simply answering question from the FBI. Hence, people can be detained and charged with obstruction of justice even though the FBI was only requesting information from the suspect in question.

I have had been visited by the FBI twice. I can't believe that out of all of the nuts on this forum that oowolf is the only other person to have the feds and local police show up at his home. Last fall I had a two feds and one local show up to my dorm room. Of course myself and two other students posted a large epitaph of bush hanging from tree, just before he showed up to support some republican.

I had a talk with one of the deputies yesterday. This incident was instigated by the local clique of "good ole boys" who've been trying to "get" me for years. You know the type: redneck nascar moron Boss Hogg clones that go apoplectic and choke on their snoose whenever they see a "Flush Bush" sign. They're the ones who kept filing various flimsy "complaints" against me. Eventually the sheriff told them essentially to "get a life". Then they started pestering the FBI, Secret Service, ASPCA, Psychic hotline or anyone else who would listen to their gibberings.
They must have convinced someone that there might be a chance I would like to decapitate Il Duce and parade down Pennsylvania Ave. with his head atop a pikepole.
The local cops are actually sympathetic to many of my opinions (some are recent veterans) and feel they have more important things than to do than do the bidding of a bunch of inbred, mouth-breathing, booger-picking, pork-and-bean-farting, dimbulbs who drive around in diesel powered super-dooper dually pickups plastered with "Support our Troops" stickies and fading "Hunters for Bush" bumper stickers; their pickup beds full of half crushed beercans. I doubt if any of these neanderthals are capable of self-reflection; it would be a real bummer to realize that for years you've been supporting a PATHETIC LOSER.
What a waste of energy and the suffering taxpayers $.
