Well, the Chicago Spire building is still in the "pits"...lol...currently it's just a hole in the ground, we're waiting for the developer to pay Santiago Calatrava, the architect, millions for his plans.

It will certainly be the tallest building period, in the U.S., if it does get built, the next tallest building is the Sears Tower, which is also in Chicago. We here in Chicago, have the largest conglomeration of skyscrapers in one city anywhere in the world, but maybe Dubai is catching up...
