Towards A New Political Future

:!:

It's very interesting to me to me to see the tide turning in the USA on a great number of issues. According to polls, better than 80 percent of Americans think the 911 investigation was bullshit, roughly 50 percent think Bush should be impeached, better than 60 percent believe we don't belong in Iraq and that the war was a mistake. 70 percent think illegal immigration is a big problem. Even PO has poked it's head into the mainstream with Fox movies and CNN documentaries.

I was thinking this afternoon that since neither the Dems nor the Repugs represent the views of the 'average' American anymore that the time is becoming ripe for the appearance of a centralist third party to appear. The problem is that I tried to think of some way of 'fixing' the things in the system that the elites have setup over the last 5 decades, and I see almost no possibility of success.

For example, you leave Iraq now, and you end up with a Civil War. You deport the 11 million illegals and you get some huge inflation along with reduced civil rights as everyone will need to prove they are entitled to be here. Bush getting impeached wouldn't matter much :) but most of the rest of these issues are so FUBAR right now that no individual, no popular uprising of any kind has a chance in hell of changing the path we are on in any way that could be considered significant, especially considering the range of truly serious issues which are right around the corner (climate change PO, etc.)

I would dearly love to see a thrid party alternative, and I am totally convinced that their appearance is inevitable - however, I am equally convinced that Americans will only resort to supporting a third party when the handwriting is already on the wall in permanent magic marker.

How about the rest you ? When the third party appears, what problems will they endeavor to solve, what tactics will they use and what chance of succes do you think they will have ?

BTW - Thomas Chittum's book, "Civil War II : The Coming Breakup of America" is now floating around the web for download - I strongly recommend that you more farseeing posters take the time to track it down (google) and read it.

When that 3rd party rears it's head, you can take it as a pretty clear sign that things have gotten quite rotten in the states of America. I for one, put the odds of an internal Civil War (with PO as one of it's major roots) at better than 70 percent over the next 15 to 20 years. The illegal immigration fiasco going on right now is one of the other roots.

The Second Civil War also made for a very good politically incorrect movie see the reviews here:

What are the Americans going to do about electronic voting? It appears to be rigged from here on in, throw in the vast population of die hard left or righters - they have voted the same way all their life. Meh, looks like a Democratic senate in Nov. but who cares, it is all the same shit - in fact Hillary looks even worse than Bush if she is going to make a run for it in 2008. A third party like Libertarian would help but the country is now completely under the control of lobbyist groups and corrupt corporate defectors. IMO a revolution would be necessary for real change and things will need to get much worse. However a new 911 investigation could shake things up quite a bit, impeaching Bush would accomplish nothing, the puppet masters will still be running the show.

“…I could run for governor but I’m basically a media creation. I’ve never done anything. I’ve worked for my dad. I worked in the oil business. But that’s not the kind of profile you have to have to get elected to public office.” --George W. Bush, 1989

I'm still not convinced by the Civil War idea. Who would be fighting whom? I don't see my neighbors killing me because I happen to be "liberal."

Tom Tancredo for president .
Hope he forms a Third Party of his own. He seems to be the ONLY one who has cosistently been on the American CITIZENS side. It will be VERY interesting to see the Bush machine try to destroy him . His fellow Republicans asked him to leave the party which I tool as a very good sign of his integrity.

This is a very scary time in this country . Our so called elected absolutely ignore the wishes of the constituents. Take the problem of the 20 million illegals. The LAWMAKERS are coddling the LAWBREAKERS. They have sworn to uphold the law of the land and protect our borders from foreign invasion. They have done neither . There is no need for 20 million illegals(and their ENTIRE family) to be here .There are just as many Americans looking for work . Wages are being suppressed by an excess of workers.
Our social services will be overwhelmed and taxes skyrocket. WE pay their bills. They make work cheap and for cash or on fake ID and make a few business owners richer BUT it is the taxpayers who will suffer. Not the poor or rich. It will get very ugly when gas and oil become very expensive or nonexistent. Numbersusa.com is a good website to send faxes from to the "elite NWO's " .We must make ourselves known to them and remind them that we vote.

Anyone feel that the buildup in military/police wiretapping & Homeland security is not for terrorism but to keep the American Citizens in line ?..and of course as we know..to provoke the oil laden countries.
Sign, all those billions and blood could be going toward alternatives. But what did the people expect from an oil baron president ?

Are we F*cked ? Or do you think the American people will rally for a better future than the ones this regime has in mind for us ?
