Types of Crude Oil and there relevance

Unread postby loadedbeat » Mon 17 Apr 2006, 21:45:30

Greetings all. Is anyone able to help point me in the right direction here?

When i look at TOD's crude oil graphs and prices i see the following:

Crude-IPE
Brent Crude-nymex
Crude, E-Mini-nymex
WTI Crude-nymex

My question is, whats the difference? They are all priced differently but whenever i 'quote' crude prices to others, i'm never too sure on which one to quote as being the most relevant.

I hope that makes sense,

Nathan

This should help. It's a good intro into different classifications.
