'Shocking' conditions at Tylenol plant
http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/14/news/co ... m?hpt=Sbin$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '&')quot; It's absolutely shocking," said David Lebo, a professor of pharmaceutical manufacturing at Temple University in Philadelphia, referring to the Food and Drug Administration's May 6 inspection report on the facility in Fort Washington, Penn., operated by Johnson & Johnson's McNeil division.
Shocking I tell you!
OK, not really. Got me thinking about the pills I pop. I only pop the odd vitamin pill from time to time and haven't taken an "aspirin" or "tylenol" for years because I rarely get headaches. I'll probably be sourcing my stuff a a bit more carefully these days.
Anyone from around Fort Washington or the area? I thought Penn. was a big steel producing state, I know they engineer a lot of grasses at Penn State. Is it looking like a third world factory sweat shop state these days?
