ABX is subprime swaps no? It's a bet that bonds will default from what I understand... not the actual value. I say you might be surprised tomorrow. 100+ oil will wipe out the consumer in the US... they know this. 25 at the worse or nothing I say.

What is a "cut" in this "context"? What's the context? I guess it's about an economical crash, but in what part of the economy?

The interest rate the fed lends money to banks is determined tomorrow...

if that rate is cut - the dollar tanks, gold soars, but the market rallys

if that rate is raised - the dollar gets stronger, oil slows, and gold slows, but the market tanks.

standing pat will IMO have the sam effect as raising
