I can beat the Punched hole in the old days story.

On another forum a story was told of punching the hole and then installing a bung. You punch the hole higher than the low point and there is still enough fuel left fo the target to drive and refuel. You can then drain again and then rebung. Apparently you set up a rotation through 20+ something vehicles at a supposedly secure area (apparently occurred at a parking garage) about a week apart so you are only taking 5 or so gallons from each. The marks either don't notice or assume it is happening elsewhere.

In some countries you always station guards (as in carrying weapons) at trucks or you will definitely be missing your fuel in the morning. And with trucks they will hit just a few of your tanks so you will be able to leave.
