When I allow my doomer brain to engage flights of fancy like Zombie Apocalypse; I'm content with the prospects and probabilities associated with living in E. Texas. It has its upsides and downsides, but generally, travel distances are very hard on walking corpses, and the heat would surely increase the rate of decay.
