I can't but think that maybe there is just something that can be done at the political level that would keep the world from falling apart. What could be done to prevent some of the Peak Oil nightmares I read on here from coming true. I know that just making more electric cars is not going to cut it. I know that peak oil can not be avoided, but maybe the hard hitting effects could be avoided so that we all don't have to worry about living in mud huts or living in a NO nightware world. Is it possible and what can possibly be done to keep the world from crashing down around us.
