I recited these things I wrote to my son last night when he came over for calculus tutoring and he said "awesome, Dad, a new Dylan!" He had a point, not that I am a new Dylan but that it is Dylanesque writing.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 't')he original undertaker, Jave, with bangs, & her hysterical bodyguard, Coo, who comes from Jersey and always carries his lunch/ they screech around the corner & tie the old buick into a lamppost/ along came three bachelors sprinkling the sidewalk with fish
a strange man we're calling Simply That wakes up to find "what" scribbled in his garden. he washes himself with a scrambled egg, puts his glasses in his pants & pulls up his trousers.
Perhaps you can hear it better with these lyrics. The close repetitive rhymes and rhythmic structure with the break for contrast. That artist is amazing.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hough you might hear laughin', spinnin', swingin' madly across the sun,
It's not aimed at anyone, it's just escapin' on the run
And but for the sky there are no fences facin'.
And if you hear vague traces of skippin' reels of rhyme
To your tambourine in time, it's just a ragged clown behind,
I wouldn't pay it any mind, it's just a shadow you're
Seein' that he's chasing.
