I posted before on this subject, but now have detail that makes this concept real. Before, it seamed too far fetched.

There are about 6 or 7 of these installations world wide, that is it, most in the EU.
The concept is to collect heat (solar or waste heat) from the SUMMER and store in insulated earth pit (just soil) for use in the WINTER.
The pit would reach 80 degrees Celsius.

In 2006 a Canadian company started the construction of a 52 home community using this technique.
It seams to me they could make the entire community "off grid" completely with a little more effort by using CHP (co-generation), or solar sterling to electric, addition energy management software, and some wind power.

While going through the google video directory, I found this interesting video on free energy. It's a fairly long video at 1 hour and 49 minutes and looks to be a few years old now, but some of the demonstrations in it are very interesting.

I've guessed it. It's an Irishman strapped to a treadmill with a bottle of Jameson Whiskey dangled in front of him just out of reach.

The force of his will will make him immortal and he will become a wraith but the mill will keep on moving producing a perpetual 100 watts of power.

Unfortunately, there are only 2 million Irishmen so only 200 megawatts of power can be produced indefinitely.

I was just chatting to Sean a couple of minutes ago and he asked me to pass on the following :


A test unit which was built yesterday in Kinetica, in the temporary lab we have set up. Once we had signed off on the final magnetic configurations we went to transfer this magnetic config to the display case on the exhibition floor.

Here they ran into some technical issues, firstly a problem with the bearings, which was fixed once identified. The next issue appears to be an environmental issue. We think possibly the temperature from the lighting system in the immediate area, but this has to be further assessed in the morning.

The current plan of action is to have a technical meeting in the morning and we will update you from there - we are planning to turn on the web streaming by lunch time so we can give you an ongoing update on progress (and you can see some stressed Engineers working in real-time, if it is not fixed by then!)

The demo will go ahead as soon as we fix the small outstanding issues.

Please except our apologies on this and we will update you first thing in the morning.

It's exactly the opposite of rocket science, totally uncomplicated.
Gravity always goes one way. It is not possible to extract more energy by dropping something than it took to get it up in the first place, as there has to be a 'worker' to do the work of lifting, itself and the object lifted.

There will never be a better gravity power than hydro-electric. In this example gravity is the force driving the turbines, but the energy is actually recycled solar energy. The sun lifts the water in the form of vapour, it is condensed in the apmosphere begins it's descent to the sea, on route at some point returning some of the sun's energy through the turbine.

You didn't know about virus infections coming from website visits? Wow.

Put simply, if an object dropping converts the gravitational force into energy, then energy would be needed to place the object back up in the starting place.
As the energy needed to place the object back in it's starting place will always be greater than the energy generated when it falls, this thing will never work!
