DC LAUNCH: JULY 22~24, 2005: An unprecedented event series joining the power of veteran/victim groups, key truth movements and the indie media to halt the deadly coup now underway and launch a thousand Paul Reveres.

Everything we need to succeed - we now have:
- The facts and evidence of betrayal from truth movement researchers
- The support of respected leaders across the political spectrum
- A nationwide communications network in independent media
- Enduring inspiration from whistleblowers, veterans & victim families
- A country gradually waking up to the desperate need for truth

All that's missing is a shared strategy
- Come to DC and help create it....

Interesting...

I doubt it will get on anything Mainstream though...

Media seems to think that if the government started the fire in the theater than it's a fake.

Or: If there is an elephant on fire in the theater, and the government says it isn't, then it isn't worth mentioning.

Either way, I still think the whole WTC was a controlled demolition is a very iffy theory. (Although, I do think that the exercises in 9/11 and the london bombings are... suspicious.) Other things, like Depleted Uranium, is a somewhat more hard evidence topic that should have coverage. I hope it doesn't get overshadowed.

Carhole, It's way too late. Insidious fascist creep began decades ago, while the ACLU focussed on the rights of children with ADD to be schooled in public schools and for girls to play hockey on boy's hockey teams.

Whether by design (sabotage from within the org) or by default they were looking the other way when the drug search and seizure laws were passed. Nothing could have given 'the secret team' a clearer green light.(See Fletcher Prouty)

Only the military, either your's or a hostile enemy's can restore the republic. It doesn't matter what is said and done anymore, the US is a totalitarian dictatorship, and consensus politics won't work anymore. We are all so used to some semblance of democracy in the US, we forget.

Watching Move On.org's rumpled little D.C. protest, with their tiny little kinko signs,'Fire Rove', made me laugh out loud. There's a complete lack of appreciation of criminal conspiracies--how they work, and how they can be realistically defeated.

The Move On protesters should direct their energies to getting the hell out of the country. They'd be just as effective protesting from afar, perhaps more so. They should all come to Canada to help us prevent this menace from spreading even more into this country than it already has. :)

It's like watching highschool kids throw a car wash to overthrow Napolean. They have a lot of energy, good hearts and minds, but it's entirely beside the point, irrelevant, wrong-headed to assume that even if they had 90% of the population behind them, it would make any difference.

Sorry Carhole. Maybe I'm dead wrong. Maybe it's not too late, and as long as there's even a tiny ray of hope, it's best to act on it.

So quick to throw away the Republic...

I see 911 as part of a huge international chessgame with energy geopolitics at it's core. China's increasing impatience with the US over oil, the War on Terrorism, the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Central asian military bases and pipelines, the bickering over Iran's nuclear program, etc. are all part of these events which do indeed appear to building towards some even greater climactic events.

Most of the speakers at the Washington DC 911 Convergence will talk about these kinds of things. Some will simply concentrate on the 911 events themselves as well as the holes in the governement's story, but many will talk about the larger geopolitical energy/power drama.

The people speaking at the convergence are, by and large, adamantly against the Empire, but want to maintain the Republic. Instead of immensely destructive resource wars, they would prefer to see some high degree of international cooperation and energy wisdom - that is, Richard Heinberg's Powerdown idea as opposed to the "Last Man Standing" idea.

Barrie Zwicker, for example, was the producer and narrator of "End of Suburbia". He's done two other films on the 911 Conspiracy and he will, no doubt, talk about both Peak Oil and 911.

Two More WTC Workers Come Forward, One Seriously Burned And The Other Hurt While Trapped In Basement Elevator, Both Claiming Massive Explosion Took Place In Lower Levels Of North Tower On 9/11
The two men's eye-witness testimony, never before released in America, aired as part of a Spanish 2002 television 9/11 documentary in Colombia; Total of four eye-witnesses have now surfaced, all claiming a bomb exploded in the basement of the north tower just prior to airplane strike 90 floors above. Although testimony is in the public eye, it has been completely ignored by 9/11 Commission and mainstream media.in what looks like a government cover-up aided by a media blackout...

This is a disheartening commentary because it is eloquent, sincere and echoes a dread anyone with an interest in political freedom feels. My own feeling is that it is a fight worth the fighting even if it is doomed. There probably won't be many voices heard at the end.I don't care as long as mine is one of them.
"Insidious fascist creep"-brilliant.

Carhole, We're probably posting a bit at cross purposes here. If the main point of the DC conference is to discuss geo political issues and is mainly educational in nature, that's constructive. Perhaps some people who attend will have their worst fears confirmed and take proper action. Even in a police state, switching from a gas guzzler to a moped, working on developing community, getting out of debt, if possible, will be very helpful.

Hotsacks--As far as political protest goes--I hope if I were still in the US I'd go down fighting too. And who knows, maybe there is more resiliency in the system than I can see, at present. Maybe there are insider plots being formulated at this very moment and protests operating concurrently WOULD help. I'll pray.

Sorry, I won't be able to attend. My suggestion to the protestors, so that you largely do not work at "cross purposes" as threadbear notes, is to match the present administration's hubris and outdo them by half. Converge on Washington DC under the assumption that one way or another and soon this administration is out on its ass, and well before November 2006 or 2008.

I hope Washington will be used as a forum, where a great discussion of our problems and the best possible solutions will take place. Prepare the people for such a new awakening, and our leaders, the better ones that is, should soon follow.
