I guess you could say I'm lucky, in a way. Caffeine gives me severe headaches, so I stay away from chocolate, coffee, and caffeinated beverages. Cigarette smoke gives me severe headaches, so I stay away from smoking. Alcohol gives me severe headaches, so I stay away from alcohol. I'm going to die very wealthy and very old!

Woke up (this afternoon) with a pounding head next to my wife.

Which is pretty interesting because I didn't have a wife yesterday. :-D

Buy cans of malt extract. Add water and sugar (and yeast included with the cans). Bottle after 5 days. It is much less labor intensive if you use a large 20 galoon (80 litre) barrel and quraet (litre) bottles. Drink after 10 or 5 more days, or whenever you run out of the previous batch.

Remindes of that book by robert allen, no money down (hangover later). I drink homebrew and I don't care what anyone says, it gives you the worse hangovers. About 6 months ago I took some of my homebrew upto a firends house, I drank 5 bottles and I was drunk as a skunk, I have never been that drunk and my friends said that I was pathetic that night. I can normally drink all night, but by around 9pm, I barely could talk or walk. I still drink homebrew but I'm very cafeful with it. I'd rather store brought over anything homebrew.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Starvid', 'P')oor people, there are no good beers in America.

Ok, ok, there is one good beer.

Samuel Adams

There are plenty of good beers in America, it's just that most Americans don't drink them because they are expensive.

As for good cheap beers that are available at my local grocery store, I enjoy the following:

Yuengling (especially Yuengling Black and Tan), Killians (an American imitation of Irish Red beer, but still very good), and of course, Sam Adams. The Sam Adams seasonal beers are especially good.

Dominion Lager is also good, although availability is somewhat limited.

In recent years there has been an explosion of 'micro breweries' in the USA, most of which produce EXCELLENT beer.

Where I used to live, there was a store called "Total Beverage" that had hundreds of microbrews and imports. It was awsome.

In light of all these facts, I don't understand why anyone in the USA would drink Budweiser or Miller or any of those other watered down American Shit beers. Why have hamburger when you can eat steak?

Nothing beats the following:

1) Buy a frozen cola from a local convenience store
2) One pint of Jack Daniels
3) A bowl of bud
4) A good bong
5) 4-6 Benedryl(or a cheap imitation)

In the following order:

-Smoke the bud
-Mix the frozen cola and pint of Jack and guzzle it down like no tomorrow
-Pop the pills

When I have awful migranes and can't sleep, that above combination knocks me out every time in a matter of minutes.

one word: PRICE.

If it's all you can afford, you go with what you can get. But I could never figure out why people who could afford better wouldn't drink better.

And as for the poster who said 'homebrew', I hear ya! Used to have a
'mr beer' kid I had borrowed from a friend, who gosh darn it, finally after months after for it back, which I reluctanctly surrendered. Could never drink more than four or five of them, and sipped them slowly..but then again, aside from your very expensive microbrews, can hardly ever remember beer tasting that good.

I really need to look at how to make 'homebrew' without a kit.

Why a beer is better than women

Unread postby evilmonkeyspanker » Tue 11 Oct 2005, 03:32:20

1. You always know if you are the first one to open a beer.
2. A beer never gets jealous if you grab another beer.
3. A beer never gets angry if you arrive smelling of beer.
4. The colder a beer, the better.
5. You can always share a beer with your friends.
6. A beer does not get upset if you arrive at 3 a.m.
7. You can choose a beer from a box, and if you change your
mind, you can pick another one.

Of course then you have this problem

University scientists released the results of a recent analysis that
revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a
concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains
female hormones (hops contain phytoeostrogens) and that by drinking enough
beer, men turn into women.

To test the theory, 100 men were fed 8 pints of beer each, within 1 hour
period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects:

1.) Gained weight

2.) Talked excessively without making sense

3.) became overly emotional

4.) Couldn't drive

5.) Failed to think rationally

6.) Argued over nothing

7.) Had to sit down while urinating !

8.) refused to apologize when obviously wrong

Why women prefer wine

1. A good wine is easy to find

2. A good wine tastes great!

3. Just because you have dinner with a glass of wine, you´re not expected to sleep with it

4. When a bottle of wine is finished it doesn´t roll over and go to sleep.

5. You don´t have to reassure a glass of wine that it´s the best
wine you´ve ever had.

6. A glass of wine won´t embarass you in front of friends!

7. If you don´t fancy a glass of wine it won´t think
you´re a lesbian

8 You won´t feel cheap if you have more than one glass of wine.

The problem I have is that I'm a bit shy. I think a lot about beer but I need a couple of women before I dare to go in to a bar and order a beer.

It's the same old story every Friday evening. I've been thinking of beer all week. Now is the time! I'll finaly have a beer and find a way out of my loneliness. I warm up with a couple of women as usual and I feel really great. But when I stand there in front of the bar ready to order, I suddenly don't know what to say anymore. It's like everything I've prepared all week runs out of me. I feel like a child and I go home without even having tried to order a beer. I often feel ashamed and it's not unusual that have a couple of more women just to be able to sleep.

The few times I've actually had a beer have left me with a feeling of emptiness.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('medicvet', '.')..I am astounded that there is a drinking song out there that I don't know.. :p (if my totally bizarre sense of humor is ever inappropriate for this forum, someone please let me know, but I just figure as long as it is in the proper areas, it would be okay...)

Well, let me add to your humor and present a couple a beer drinkin' songs you may not know:

*sshole:

*sshole, *sshole
A soldier I will be
To piss, to piss
Two pistols on my knee
For cunt, for cunt
For country and for queen
*sshole, *sshole, *sshole, *sshole
A soldier I will be
Drink it Down, Down.....

She's The Meanest:

She's the meanest
She sucks the horses penis
She's the meanest, she's a horses *ss

Every since she found it
All she does is pound it
She's the meanest, she's a horses *ss
So, drink chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug....
