With all the fracking going on right smack dab on top of the Ogallala, each one of those wells requires a few million gallons of water and toxic chemicals in order to fracture the earth, dislodge the oil and gas, and pump it back up for consumption.Multipy a few million gallons by several thousand wells, and i don't see the Ogallala going dry anytime soon. It will surely be poisoned beyond any survivable use by people for consumption or irrigation, but it won't go dry. This is all part of the plan to make water a valuable commodity, hence something to monopolize and suck wealth from as people need clean sources of it more and more and more. This will also create JOBS for workers as they dig the canals from James Bay down to Wichita. It provides a valuable resource to people in need, and creates jobs for people at the same time. Who could be against fracking over the Ogallala if we all stand to GAIN so much from polluting our most precious, existing natural resource for oil?
