I think I started the "listen class" thing. But I see Raph getting in on it too. That's just games, NEO, you should know that. I find Raph fun and the things he posts funny, albeit goofy. I like Geology, majored in it in college. The world is beautiful, the rocks and the mountains. This silly Atlantis stuff just gives me an excuse to post about sea floor spreading. I can show you geomagnetic data up the ying yang of the ocean floor basalts, their age, and banding from magnetic pole reversals. It would freak people out if the magnetic poles never reversed and it was actually the skin rotating. The entire universe would have to rotate to make that happen because we do have extraterrestrial evidence of the timing of terrestrial events also. Your thoughts don't fit the available information; it only fits the current interpretations of your stories from man, a notably deceptive animal, I think far more than divine.

Look at the state of climate change science.
We have the majority of the people in power attempting to control the thoughts of the rest.
We have examples like Bushco preventing the release of studies etc etc.
Oh one could easily post 10,000+ links from the not so distant past showing people from all walks of life denying the "evidence".

The same applies to Peak oil.
In one year....... hundreds if not 1000's of science minded indiviuals have come to accept Peak Oil.

Where was imagination?
Did imagination help these people realize the truth?
Did the higher ed. community embrace the idea?
Fuck no.

Why? because they have their own dogma with many taboo's.

Most of the "experts" are bought and paid for by one organization or another.

Thankfully a few brave souls carried the peak oil burden, spoke out against the rest of the "experts" and made it public knowledge.

To see the envelope pushed and new fields of study spring up as a result.
