John, you can discuss the morality of meat-eating but you are never going win the agro/economic argument that a grazing goat costs more oil than a Boca Burger.


You're changing the subject. The issue is whether grazing goats are more sustainable than Boca Burgers. It's a well known fact that goats cause massive desertification and soil erosion worldwide. Dialing everybody back to the lifestyle of Somalia is hardly a recipe for sustainability. How many goats are we going to need here, pete?

I'm not going to argue with you about the merits of using piss as a fertilizer. It's a great idea, and I support it. On the other hand, if you're talking about monetary costs, how much does your land for raising goats cost, per pound of meat, per year?

Also soy is moderate in it chemical castration, I'm sure A-holes like gg3 will think up something much WORSE. Like putting Hormones in GM corn , like the ones raised for pharmacuticlas in our food supply already...or something like that.

I own the land JD and the cost is some weeds n' stuff.


How much did you pay for it? And how much are the taxes, per year?

After years of checking about once a year it seems that Quorn has finally made it to my neighborhood. I discovered this through their US website http://www.quorn.us/

I plan on trying it in the next few weeks any suggestions for flavor/texture that might be more palatable?
